Christ Came to Save Sinners

1 Timothy 1:15-17

15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. 16 But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. 17 To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

First of all, let’s look at the phrase “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” There are several things that we should consider from this phrase today.

All of those are difficult and important. But that’s not the hardest part.

The hardest part of writing a book is the same as any great endeavor that you set out to accomplish. It’s the same for every artist, entrepreneur, and world changer.

The hardest part is sitting down and writing.

2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

The N.I.V. translation says.. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Fulfilling the ministry that God has called us to is certainly a great task that has been entrusted to us and it is one that is to be taken rather seriously.

The task is before you. Job estimates and cost analyses have been calculated. The tools are in order, and the list of supplies is acquired. You are ready to work.
